My 26th Birthday

Today is the first day of my 26th year! As I add another “tick” onto my age, I have been reflecting on my 25th year, which brought me so many ups, downs, lessons, and achievements. I am grateful for them all, because I am such a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. When I started out in 25, I had just started working for a company in New York City that I thought would have been my dream, but turns out that I was unhappy there for many reasons. I learned a lot about my inner strength and self respect when it came to love and relationships, locked down the current job that I have now (which I LOVE), and spent more time with my friends to really grow and nurture those special relationships.

And now, I am setting my sights and intentions on my 26th year! I have a few of items on my list that I want to achieve personally and professionally. Some are larger and some are smaller, but they are nothing out of range of what I am capable of. The night before my birthday, I wrote a manifestation list of the things I want to make happen. I know the manifestation lists and intentions and prayers can help contribute to the things that we want to obtain, but WE have to physically make them happen if we truly want them! After a few years now of a very tumultuous job experience, I am really focusing my sights on working towards the “dream job” … what exactly that is though, I am not totally sure yet! I have a few other things that I am working on, but I won’t tell you juuuust yet about them, but I promise to share them with you, once they happen in their own time :).

This birthday was truly a wonderful one! It was spent with my family going to the Met Cloisters and seeing part of the fashion exhibit, then having a wonderful meal at one of my favorite restaurants in New York City, an capped of by a drink at a rooftop bar!

Thank you to all of my friends, family, and followers who reached out to me and sent me their love!

XO, F
